Passives & identity

The Demon's defining identity is environmental immunity. Lava, fire, falling blocks, creepers, TNT, the Nether's chronic damage sources, none of it touches them. Combined with the lava/Nether damage boost, this turns hostile biomes into home turf and makes them the only race that can confidently fight in a lava lake.

Direct 10-damage targeted hit. The Demon's bread-and-butter single-target burst, five hearts straight off the bar.
Explosion Active
Creates a radius-2 explosion at the caster's location, with block-breaking enabled. Risky to throw in your own builds; lethal in open-field combat.
Snare Active
Applies Slowness VII (10s) and Jump Boost CXXIX (10s) to the target, the jump boost is set so high that the target loses control of vertical movement, while the slowness pins them in place. Effectively a 10-second hard CC.
Hellish Recruiting
Creates a Hellish item in the target's inventory, the recruiting item that turns whoever consumes it into a Demon. Subject to the server-wide recruiting-item limit.
Summon Strider Summon
Spawns an adult, saddled Strider at the target's location and immediately mounts the target on it. Lava traversal solved instantly, the Demon's signature mobility tool.

Damage dealt

  • 1.5ร— damage dealt while standing in lava or anywhere in the Nether: environments are amplifiers, not punishments.

Damage taken

  • Immune to fire, lava, fire ticks, and hot floor (Magma blocks), fire damage events are fully cancelled and burning ticks reset to zero.
  • Immune to explosions: both block explosions and entity (TNT/creeper) explosions are cancelled outright.
  • No fall damage.
